The Iron claimed a deserved 2-0 Championship victory over play-off chasing Burnley with goals from Martyn Woolford and Chris Dagnall On This Day in 2010.
Woolford struck in the 14th minute with a clinical left-footed finish for his seventh goal of the season.
Burnley almost equalised when Jay Rodriguez headed over Ross Wallace's cross from only six yards out.
But Woodford then set up Dagnall to claim the second with six minutes remaining, rifling in from six yards.
