Academy manager and Iron goalscoring legend Tony Daws will be the special guest speaker in the restaurant for the National League season opener against Yeovil Town on Saturday, August 6th (5.20pm kick-off).
Daws scored 71 goals in 223 appearances for the Iron between 1987 and 1993, including a memorably spectacular strike against Blackpool in the 1992 Division Four play-off final at Wembley.
Since then, he has gone on to become academy manager at the Iron. It's a role he's held since 2005, with a number of players who have come up through the Iron's ranks now part of the first team squad.
He has some fascinating stories to tell and will be talking in the restaurant prior to the eagerly-awaited home encounter against the Glovers.
