The 49-year-old made 336 appearances for the club, scoring 20 goals (this included 177 successive appearances without missing a game). Hope was also the skipper for our first ever win at Wembley, against Leyton Orient in the 1999 Division Three play-off final.
Signing from Nottingham Forest in 1993, he was with us until 2000 when he moved to Gillingham.
'Hopey' has some fascinating stories to tell and will be talking in the restaurant prior to the home encounter against the Moors.
