The Iron entered their Emirates FA Cup first round game against Doncaster Rovers making four changes from the side beaten at Colchester, as Mason O'Malley, Jai Rowe, Alfie Beestin and Harry Bunn came in for Ross Millen, Manny Onariase, Lewis Thompson and Myles Hippolyte. There was then a further late change as Harry Davis made way for Onariase during the warm-up.
