Iron left-back Mason O'Malley has been named in the squad for the Republic of Ireland U21s training camp during the March international window.
During that period of time, Jim Crawford's side will also take on Wales Under-21s, and O'Malley subsequently won't be available for United when we face Bradford City next Tuesday night.
The defender has made 21 appearances so far this season for the Iron, after making his senior debut in the Papa John's Trophy group stage game at Lincoln City in September.
The 19-year-old former Huddersfield trainee has featured in a Republic of Ireland training camp in the past, in the Under-16 age group.
