Bedeau has started in four out of the last five games, and says he is glad to be back playing again following a spell out of the side.

He told iFollow Iron: “I’m happy to be back in the team, but it’s not a great way to come back into it because of injuries. Hopefully the boys will be okay and working hard to get back fit. But I’m just happy to be back playing though.

“I just want to try and play as many games as possible, get as many clean sheets, and put in as many good performances as possible. Hopefully I will keep my place in the team by playing well.”

United unfortunately lost 2-0 at home to Exeter City on Tuesday, but the team are looking forward to bouncing back this weekend when they visit the Breyer Group Stadium.

He said: “Obviously it was a disappointing result, and a disappointing performance from the team as a whole. Hopefully we can put that right at the weekend and get the three points.”

Bedeau added: “Tuesday has gone now; we can’t dwell on the result and performance. We have just got to go to Leyton Orient and put it right.”

The Iron beat Leyton Orient 2-0 at home earlier on in the season, and Bedeau explained that the team know hard work will be the key to get something from the game.

He said: “No game is as easy as any other. We went to Cambridge away who were top of the league and got a win. Hopefully we can take that confidence and get a result going down to Leyton Orient."
