The Iron’s CEO, Leanne Mayo, commented: “Everyone at the football club is very excited at the prospect of seeing fans back in the stadium after such a long absence. The operations team are working incredibly hard on a number of different scenarios to welcome fans back to the stadium, and there are still some unknowns around the lifting of restrictions. We are however very confident that we’ll be able to welcome supporters back for these games and it will be great for supporters to be able to watch live football once again.
“Discussions are ongoing with our local Safety Advisory Group and we will of course be guided by the Government as to exact measures that will be required for these fixtures, all of which will be confirmed in due course.”
Tickets for the away end are available for the game versus Lincoln City and should be booked in advance of the game through Scunthorpe United channels.
Tickets are available online at www.sufctickets.com. Please note that tickets purchased online are E-tickets so will be print at home or scan from mobile only.
As present, the Executive Seats will be unavailable for spectators at the friendly matches. The Executive Lounge will be open for no extra charge, depending on regulations.
East Stand car parking can also be purchased online in advance through the ticket system priced at £4 per car. This is a £1 advance saving as these cost £5 otherwise.
The Sands Venue Stadium is now a cashless stadium with card and contactless payments only.
While we fully expect to be able to welcome supporters back to the stadium, should the situation change and this game is unable to take place with spectators due to covid restrictions imposed on the club, then a full refund will be given.
