Scunthorpe United can confirm the Under 18 side's away Youth Alliance League game at Lincoln City on Saturday has been postponed.

Last weekend's match at Grimsby Town was called off after receiving notification that one of our academy players tested positive for COVID-19 late on Friday. Another academy player has tested positive this week.

Due to these players being unavailable, and injuries depleting our side, it has been mutually agreed that the match with the Imps will now be played at a later date.

The academy is following all the Government and EFL's COVID-19 protocols and will not name the players in question. We ask that their request for privacy and confidentiality are respected at this time.
