Scunthorpe United Football Club can confirm the latest round of COVID-19 tests have been conducted on the required members of the playing squad and coaching staff.
Following the results of these tests, there has been no detection of any COVID-19 symptoms in any of the samples provided.
The individual who tested positive last week is still self-isolating as per government and EFL guidelines, and so is John McAtee, who was told to self-isolate after coming into close contact with that individual. We ask that the individual’s request for privacy and confidentiality remain respected at this time.
