The Tyne-based official will travel to the Sands Venue Stadium for the eighth game of his season and his fourth in Sky Bet League Two. The current campaign is Seb's eighth in in the EFL.
He's taken charge of Scunthorpe matches on no fewer than 13 previous occasions. His last encounter involving United came just over a year ago when he oversaw the 3-1 home win over Exeter City. Two of the three yellow cards on the night went to Scunthorpe players with Harrison McGahey and Yann Songo'o carded.
Of those 13 games, nine have come at the Sands Venue Stadium. In those previous games, he's shown a total of 51 yellow cards and one red.
Meanwhile, his involvement with Salford City fixtures first came in 2018-19 when he oversaw their FA Cup replay with Shrewsbury Town at the Peninsula Stadium when they were still in the National League. They were defeat in that game, along with the other tie he's been involved in, coincidentally also Exeter City back in December last year. Across the two games, he's issued seven yellow cards.
In 2019-20, he took charge of 28 games, issuing 89 yellow cards and six reds. So far this season, he has refereed seven games, shown 27 yellow cards and no reds.
On Tuesday, he will be assisted by Chris Ward and Wayne Grunnill, while Richard Wigglesworth has been appointed as the fourth official.
