As games remain behind-closed-doors in the short-term, supporters will now be able to bring Iron flags and banners to be draped over the seats at the Sands Venue Stadium.
Though we wish our fans could be in the stadium getting behind the team, supporters can show their backing in another way by bringing branded flags and banners that have been created over the years. This will also be shown on the iFollow Iron live stream, as well as matchday content, plus Sky Sports and Quest's coverage of matches.
Those who can and want to help need to email feedback@scunthorpe-united.co.uk to arrange a date and time where you will be asked to bring the flag or banner to the Sands Venue Stadium and place it in an area of the ground under supervision.
This will be done in a socially distant manner through an access gate and those attending will have to bring their own personal protective equipment (face mask/covering and gloves) in order to place it over the seats safely and securely.
Offensive flags and/or banners will not be accepted.
These will also be left at the owners risk as Scunthorpe United will not take responsibility for any damage.
The flags and banners will be kept over the seats until supporters are allowed to return to the Sands Venue Stadium upon new EFL and Government guidance.
