Callum was our 12th member to get the chance to take part, with the then-14-year-old featured in the new-look Junior Iron Mini Mag for our younger supporters. He also got the opportunity to interview striker Lee Novak, asking him his choice of questions.
This interview was featured in our programme when we faced Plymouth Argyle back in January.
Here's his interview, plus Lee's answers...
What's been the best part of being a JIC member? The best part of being in the group was being a mascot earlier in the season, meeting the players and going to the functions.
How long have you been supporting the Iron? I have been supporting the Iron for four years.
Tell us about your first game. My first game was in October 2015, which was Scunthorpe United against Fleetwood Town.
Tell us about your favourite game. My favourite game was Blackpool away, which was my first away game and I enjoyed it very much as I was able to get signatures as players were coming off the coach. Even though we lost the game, it was a different experience for me.
Who is your favourite Scunthorpe United player of all time? My favourite player of all time is Paddy Madden.
Who do you come to games with? I come with my mum, brother and Adam, my friend, and occasionally, my dad.
Do you play football and if so, who for and what position do you play? I play football at a disability session every Friday, and I play as a striker.
Which game has been your favourite so far this season? My favourite game this season, so far, was against Exeter City, with James Perch scoring an excellent goal.
Callum interviews Lee Novak…
How happy were you when you first signed for Scunthorpe? I was very happy as I had nearly signed for the club twice before, so I was glad it finally happened the third time around.
Even though it is a good few years away, have you had any thoughts when you hang your boots up? I have things set away, away from football already for when I decide to stop playing.
Do you keep in contact with any of your old teammates? I keep in contact with a lot of my old teammates. Some of my old teammates are my closest mates, so I speak to them a lot.
What music do you like? Dance and house music.
Were you good at any other sports in your childhood? Not really. It was all about football when I was a kid.
Who is the best FIFA 20 player at the club? I don’t play it, but I think Kev (van Veen) and Rory Watson are decent at it as they play on the bus a lot, so I’ll go with one of them.
