After returning from injury earlier in the season, the 20-year-old has most recently been out on loan to the Spartans' league rivals Darlington since mid-November and, after a successful initial month where he scored twice in six appearances, the Quakers opted to keep Lambert for a further month.
In total, across his two-month stay, he made ten appearances and scored two goals. Both strikes came in the FA Trophy against Gainsborough Trinity and Solihull Moors, respectively. His last touch of the ball in a Darlington shirt led to a goal, with his low cross against Alfreton being turned in by Justin Donawa.
The former Middlesbrough youth product signed for Scunthorpe in the summer after leaving Dundee and arrives at Croft Park in time to be in contention to face Kings Lynn Town on Saturday.
