Marie Curie Lincolnshire’s 83 nurses looked after over 2,500 patients last year in the county. They provide end of life care for people within their own homes to allow them to stay at home surrounded by their creature comforts and their loved ones. Their nurses work during the night from 10pm until 7am for their planned nursing team and the rapid response team work from 4pm til 7am and 24/7 over bank holidays and weekends.
They give a huge thanks to The Rotary Club of Scunthorpe Pentagon for holding this collection today, as well as the Scunthorpe United for allowing the date. They add: “Thank you from the bottom of our heart if you have donned a daffodil on matchday!”
