Junior Iron Club member Leo Whyte benefitted from being part of the group against Morecambe on Saturday by enjoying a duo of experiences.

The five-year-old was featured in the new-look Junior Iron Mini Mag for our younger supporters as the JIC feature fan and he also got the opportunity to interview goalkeeper Rory Watson, asking him his choice of questions ahead of what was his first clean sheet for the club.

Furthermore, he was given the opportunity to walk out with the match ball on matchday alongside referee Nicholas Kinseley as we continued our ball delivery opportunity, exclusively for JIC members, following a six-year absence.

This all came following the Junior Iron Club launch event which took place in the Legends Lounge ahead of the fixture, with Leo one of the many group members who received their welcome packs and signed their contracts alongside first team players Andy Butler and Ryan Colclough.

You can still sign up to be a member of the Junior Iron Club!

The Launch Event took place ahead of the Morecambe game on Saturday, but there's still time to get involved and sign your contract for the 2019-20 season.
