Junior Iron Club member Harry Hammond enjoyed a mascot package against Morecambe on Saturday after being randomly drawn out as the latest competition winner of the 2019-20 season.
He was able to enjoy a full package at the Sands Venue Stadium, which included meeting the players and leading out the team ahead of kick-off, along with a pre-match tour and a signed football.
Last season, a number of JIC members were all able to lead out the side in previous Iron fixtures, with the initiative continuing in 2019-20 exclusively to the supporters group.
A random number generator was used to decide the recipient of the prize, with each of our members allocated a unique number in the draw.
The package provides a whole host of exciting benefits, which include some opportunities to see behind the scenes at special ‘JIC’ events, home and away mascot days, money-can’t buy experiences as well as a variety of discounts plus more.
