SCENE-SETTER

The Iron's Under-23 side's most recent game was last Wednesday, when they won 5-2 at Bottesford Town in a friendly fixture.

United netted four goals in an assured first half, with Jai Rowe bagging a brace, along with goals from Clayton Lewis and Jo Cummings.

Lewis Butroid added to the scoreline in the second half but Bottesford got two back at Birkdale Park.

The game saw returns to action for John McAtee and Jordan Hallam, who will be looking to step up their game time after playing 45 minutes last week.

Abo Eisa also featured in that game last week and he, along with other players who have not had a huge amount of first team action in recent weeks, may also feature.

It is the Under-23 side's first Central League fixture of the season.
