The Rutland-based official will travel to the Sands Venue Stadium for his 10th game of the campaign and third in Sky Bet League Two. The current campaign is Kettle's seventeenth in the EFL.
His first game of the campaign was Rochdale's 1-1 home draw with Doncaster Rovers on the second weekend of the season. He issued three cautions on the day. Meanwhile, his latest appointment came last weekend when he oversaw Salford City's 3-0 away win at Walsall. A further three yellow cards were shown.
He was last appointed to an Iron game back in March when he took charge of the 1-0 home defeat to Bristol Rovers. On that occasion, he showed seven yellow cards. In total, he's refereed United on 20 occasions, showing 67 yellow cards and three reds.
Meanwhile, he's refereed Northampton Town on 15 occasions, most recently a 2-2 draw with Grimsby Town last November. He issued two yellow cards and one red in the game. In total, while refereeing the Cobblers, he's issued 52 yellow cards and three red cards.
In 2018-19, he took charge of 41 games, issuing 171 yellow cards and seven reds. So far in this campaign, he has officiated in nine encounters, showing 28 yellows and three red cards.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by David Hunt and Richard Bartlett, while Matthew McGrath has been appointed as the fourth official.
