SCENE-SETTER
The Under-23 side's last game saw them play out a 3-3 home draw against Newcastle United in the Premier League Cup, with on-loan Barnsley striker George Miller scoring a hat-trick.
It was a pleasing performance for Under-23s manager Russ Wilcox, and a number of players who are returning from injury or on the fringes of the first team at the moment may play a part in the fixture. Keep an eye out for team news on our Twitter feed in the hour running up to kick-off.
First team manager Paul Hurst saud Jordan Hallam was nearing a return from a hamstring injury in his press conference last week, while Omar Sanyang (ankle) continues to miss out.
There will be no Under-18s players involved as they're in FA Youth Cup third round action at West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday night (7pm kick-off).
