We take a look at how our Iron players out on loan have been getting on.

Duo James Horsfield and Andy Dales both completed loan switches to Scottish side Dundee in January.

Both players have been regularly playing for the SPL side, with Horsfield starting five times whilst Dales has started eight games and has come off the bench once.

They were both involved in Dundee’s 4-0 loss away at Rangers in the side’s last match, as they prepare to take on Hearts this Saturday.

Back in England, Charlie Goode has also been playing regularly for League Two side Northampton.

The central defender moved on transfer deadline day to the Cobblers on loan, but was forced off injured with a facial injury late in their last fixture.

Goode played his part in the 2-0 victory over Crewe, helping extend the team’s unbeaten run to five games.

Having started the last six matches for Northampton, Goode is expected to be play in their next outing at home to Exeter.

Elsewhere, 19-year-old midfielder George Hornshaw came off the bench to make his Gainsborough Trinity debut last weekend.

Hornshaw joined the Northern Premier League side two weeks ago and helped them defeat Bamber Bridge 2-1 in their latest result.

Meanwhile, young goalkeeper Adam Kelsey has been out on loan at Stocksbridge Park Steels in the Northern Premier League Division One East. They lost their last match 3-0 at home to Tadcaster Albion, though he kept a clean sheet in the previous match against Brighouse Town.
