Scunthorpe United is looking to appoint a conscientious Laundry Assistant / Stadium Cleaner with a “can do” attitude.
You will work with our friendly and professional team to provide a safe and clean environment.
The key duties of this role as Laundry Assistant will include assisting current staff washing and preparing all First Team, Under-23’s and Academy kits and ensuring that they are ready for training sessions and matches, as well as ensuring that at all times laundry standards are maintained to high level and that kits are presented in-line with club standards.
This is a combined role including Stadium Cleaning for 30 hours per week. In order to deliver the highest standards, it is important that the stadium is presented at its best at all times. The role of stadium cleaner is therefore very important to us and we are looking for an individual that takes pride in their work and perfection is the norm.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of a similar laundry and cleaning role. They will be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. They will possess strong time management skills with a flexible approach to working.
