After four days back at Glanford Park, the Iron players now head off to La Manga in Spain for six days of hard work as preparations for 2019-20 heat up - quite literally.
The trip will see the side based in Spain until Saturday, July 6th, facing Dundee on Friday, July 5th (11am kick-off UK time) at the end of the training camp.
Manager Paul Hurst, his assistant Chris Doig and the rest of the backroom staff will be putting their players through their paces in the region of Murcia for the week just days after the team reported back to Glanford Park.
It's the first time that the Iron have ventured to Spain for pre-season since 2015 when the side were based in Marbella, with three successive visits to Obertraun in Austria succeeding that tour.
The side will be based at La Manga club throughout their stay in the region. Click here to learn more about where the squad will be based.
