Scunthorpe United Football Club is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive full-time marketing assistant to join the team.
Based at Glanford Park Stadium, the role will provide the successful candidate with the chance to work in a busy commercial environment at a professional football club, contributing to the business by utilising a variety of marketing knowledge, skills and commercial acumen, to support the growth of the business across a variety of departments.
Key responsibilities will be broad ranging to provide support and assistance to the marketing and commercial functions of the business, as well as the chance to grow in the role to manage and develop a variety of products and services.
You will need to have fantastic written and oral communication skills, be confident, organised and have a passion for sport. The role would provide a great opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking for their first steps in a career in the professional sports industry.
The role will include working matchdays, plus some evenings and weekends.
