Lee Probert will take charge of Friday's pre-season encounter against Dundee at the La Manga Club.
The Select Group One match official prepares for his thirteenth campaign as a top-flight referee and sixteenth inside the top four divisions of English football.
From South Gloucestershire and based in Wiltshire, Probert last season took charge of 30 games, showing 91 yellow cards and eight reds. Of those 30 games, 18 were in the Premier League and four were in the Championship.
In total, he's only refereed Scunthorpe on four previous occasions, with the last encounter almost eleven years ago. Three out of the four matches have come at Glanford Park, with the first coming over 15 years ago against Northampton Town. In total, across the four games, he's shown 12 yellow cards and two reds, with both dismissals going to Huddersfield Town players in 2004.
