Pay on the day at Fleetwood Town

25 January 2019

Scunthorpe had won four matches in a row prior to last weekend when they took on Sunderland. Josh Maja had given the Black Cats the lead but the Iron hit back through a late Adam Hammill leveller to extend their unbeaten run.

Confidence is also high at the Highbury Stadium, with the Cod Army unbeaten in three matches, which includes the 3-0 midweek win at AFC Wimbledon that saw Ched Evans (two) and Ashley Eastham notch.

TEAM NEWS…

United boss Stuart McCall reported no fresh injury worries ahead of the game.

Josh Morris faces a few weeks out with a fractured fibula and strained ankle ligaments. Elsewhere, Jordan Clarke is out for four months (knee), while Ryan Colclough (knee) is out for the remainder of the season.

PAST MEETINGS…

The less said about the game at Glanford Park earlier this season the better, but the Iron did win on their last trip to Highbury. Josh Morris (two) and Ivan Toney were on target in a 3-2 success last February.
