19 January 2019With the Black Cats selling out their total allocation, including the overspill of the Clugston Stand, the attendance is set to be the highest at Glanford Park in the 2018-19 campaign to date.
While we acknowledge the visitors would be able to sell more tickets to their fans given the opportunity, we would just like to clarify that this is not possible at Glanford Park in the stadium’s current set-up.
Not only do the club have 12th Man holders in the very first block of the Clugston Stand next to the overspill section, any change to the segregation of the stand would have a detrimental impact on the facilities to home supporters including the use of the toilets. It would also inconvenience our home supporters, something we do not want to do.
We are confident following the fantastic support we received against Coventry City last week, that our home gate will continue to grow and we will have a great backing for the Sky Bet League One encounter.
With areas of the stadium beginning to sell out, including the Lincolnshire Co-op Family Zone, we’d encourage you to purchase your tickets for the encounter as soon as possible.
| Iron fans can pay on the gate* for Turnstiles 2A and 2B of the Britcon Stand only. Please note, matchday prices will apply. To reduce queuing time, we encourage fans to buy tickets prior to the game and also to arrive early. The turnstiles open from 1.30pm and there will be a large security presence too. The Lincolnshire Co-op Family Zone is likely to sell out, so fans wanting to be in that area are urged to book as soon as possible. The car park is also expected to be busy for the game and it's first come first served so we advise supporters to arrive early. The car park is open from 11.30am that morning. The Iron Bar will be open from 11.30am (for home fans only), with the Happy Hour promotion running ahead of the game.
