The Iron made five changes going into their home Carabao Cup first round clash against Derby County.

Rory Watson, Ryan Colclough, James Perch, Rory McArdle and John McAtee replaced Jake Eastwood, Jordan Clarke, Harrison McGahey, Kyle Wootton and Yann Songo'o respestively.
