Following our catering services coming back in-house, we are pleased to announce some further changes and returns which will take effect from our home league encounter against Swindon Town on Saturday.

The club announced in mid-June that the club’s hospitality and catering was to be run by the Iron directly once more following a year where it was outsourced to an external company. Through that year, the offerings went through a number of changes, which United have reviewed over the summer.

Iron Bar draught beer and wine price reduction…

Following a review of the pricing structure across the ground, the decision has been made to reduce the cost of all draught beers and wine served in the Iron Bar, which will open from 11.30am this Saturday.

A new menu, plus the footlong and Pukka returns…

Amongst popular items that were originally sold in our catering points around the stadium on a matchday, the club are delighted to confirm that the footlong Lincolnshire sausage hotdog will return to the menu ahead of the visit of the Robins.

The meat for these is supplied from renowned local company Taylor’s Family Butchers, who have grown as a business over the last couple of years and come highly regarded.

A footlong will be accompanied, if required, by the also-returning fried onions, while mushy peas will also return to football’s favourite brand of pies - Pukka - after a short absence.

Supporters will be able to indulge in their favourite flavour of Pukka Pie including Chicken Balti, All Steak and Cheese and Onion, along with the return of their sausage rolls and pasties.

Card and contactless payment…

Supporters will no longer have to bring cash to make purchases at our catering points and concourses, with card machines now installed which includes contactless payments and Apple Pay. Both of the latter options come with a £30 transaction limit, but there are now more options to make your pre-or-half-time purchases even easier, hopefully reducing queue time and efficiency.
