Bar Supervisors – Match day and Events
Scunthorpe United are seeking experienced casual Bar Supervisors to join our busy Events Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to develop new skills working in a prestigious event location. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, passionate about people, have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate excellent customer service.
Main duties include:
- Operating tills, including cashing up and completing paperwork at the start and end of each shift
- Leading the team by example
- Giving clear direction and guidelines to team members
- Ensuring the appearance of team members is according to company policy
- Being able to communicate effectively with guests at all levels of the venue
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ensuring that the bar is fully stocked at all times and keeping accurate records of stock
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene by keeping the bar area clean, tidy and presentable at all times
Shifts are arranged on an ad-hoc basis. Shifts will be between four and 12 hours long, depending on the business needs.
Current bar work experience is essential with a good level of written and spoken English. Please note this position is for those aged 18 and older.

Scunthorpe United are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to help deliver the event experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hospitality experience in a prestigious event location.
The ideal candidate would be:
- A great communicator
- Able to work well under pressure
- Passionate, confident and take pride in all that they do
- Have an excellent level of spoken and written English
As part of the Hospitality Team you will be serving food to customers, keeping the work area clean and tidy, cleaning and polishing cutlery and occasionally setting up and clearing down the venue.
Shifts are arranged on an ad-hoc basis. Shifts will be between four and 12 hours long, depending on the business needs.
