Thomas Bramall to referee Wolves U21s cup clash

3 September 2018

Thomas Bramall will be the man in the middle for the Iron's home Checkatrade Trophy encounter against Wolves U21s.

The official is in his first campaign as an EFL referee and will take charge of his fifth game of the season at Glanford Park.

His previous four encounters have all been League Two affairs, where he's issued just five cautions in total. Bramall's last game came on Saturday when he took charge of Grimsby Town's home defeat against Yeovil Town.

In 2017-18, he officiated 17 games in the National League and one further match in the FA Cup's preliminary rounds. He showed a total of 42 yellow cards and four reds in those matches.

On Tuesday, Bramall will be assisted by Gary Hilton and Stephen Wade, while James Bell has been appointed as the fourth official.
