The Iron have recalled forward Kyle Wootton from his loan spell at National League side Halifax Town.
The 22-year-old made three appearances, including two starts, during his 28-day stay with the Shaymen.
Wootton made his debut for the side as a 71st minute substitute in the 2-2 draw against Bromley before starting in the 3-0 away defeat at Aldershot and the 1-1 home draw against former EFL side Chesterfield.
The striker, who has made a total of 44 appearances in all competitions for United, scoring five goals, goes straight back into the match day squad for this afternoon’s encounter against Plymouth Argyle at Glanford Park.
