Local junior football side Marshalls Colts U10s took advantage of one of our flag bearing packages as the Iron hosted Portsmouth on Saturday.
Nine players from the side were present to enjoy the experience, which saw them allowed onto the pitch prior to kick-off, as they got involved with the pre-match routine.
They welcomed both teams onto the pitch, taking advantage of group booking prices, before enjoying the encounter against Pompey from the Lincolnshire Co-op Family Zone of the SPB Stand.
Prior to the game, the side took advantage of a behind-the-scenes tour opportunity, which allowed them into otherwise restricted areas of the stadium. The group were able to pretend they were being interviewed in front of our press conference boards in the press room, before they gained access to the club's boot room.
The final stop was the home dressing room, where they were able to meet the players before the tour came to an end.
The group were also pictured with United's left-back Lewis Butroid who used to play for the side prior to joining the Iron's academy. Incidentally, his younger brother, Ellis, was one of the players enjoying the tour.
Following the experience, Richard Proctor emailed: "They had a great time (on) Saturday. We appreciate all you did to make it a memorable experience for them."
