Playing their second game inside less than 48 hours, it was an excellent performance from the players once again but United were 1-0 down at half-time.
They deservedly levelled midway through the second half after an excellent passing move which Joe Busby finished off at the far post.
Scunthorpe then had a really good 30 minute spell where they got on top, but unfortunately conceded from a corner which cost them the game.
