Winger Josh Morris wants the Iron to take the game to Shrewsbury at the weekend, as that is when he believes they are at their best.
The 26-year-old also wants to chip in with some goals himself in the remaining nine games.
Ahead of the match, he previewed Shrewsbury to iFollow Iron.
ON THE 3-3 DRAW AT WIGAN…
JM: Obviously to come back down from two goals on two occasions and then to take the lead, I felt a bit disappointed really. We played some good stuff at times, but it is a point against the team that have now gone up to second so we will take it and move on.
ON THE IRON’S ATTACKING PLAY…
JM: I think the way we attacked and created chances, we took it to them. That is when we are at our best with the tempo and the positive play. We have got to make sure we carry that on this weekend. I think we are at our best when we attack teams and take it to them. With the strikers scoring, hopefully we can create more goals for them, and chip in ourselves.
ON SHREWSBURY TOWN…
JM: They have done really well to manage to stay up there and they are in the mix. It is going to be a tough test, but one we are looking forward to. These are the games you want as a player - to be playing the teams at the top of the table. They seem to have been quite consistent throughout the season. It's up to us now to knock them off their perch a little bit, especially being at home, we have got to make the most of it.
ON TRAINING THIS WEEK…
JM: It has been good and sharp. We need to make sure we are in a positive frame of mind and ensure we approach the game right. We need to try and affect the game as best as we can, making them worry about us.
ON THE RUN-IN…
JM: I cannot wait and we have got nine big games to go. We know what we need to do to get to where we want to be. We need to take every game as it comes and go from there.
ON THE CONFIDENCE IN THE TEAM…
JM: We are confident, need to concentrate on us and win as many games as we can to see where we end up.
