Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce Venue Catering Partner as the club’s new provider for hospitality and catering services at Glanford Park.
As part of the club’s continued commitment to improve the experience for supporters, the Iron have teamed up with the Staffordshire-based company, who will manage the catering operation at Glanford Park.
The partnership agreement commences on Monday, 25th June, 2018 and will cover all hospitality and catering services at the stadium. This includes the public concessions and hospitality areas on matchdays, as well as the Glanford Park Restaurant and event functions on non-matchdays.
VCP provide the matchday catering for a number of professional football clubs, including Peterborough United, Rochdale, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Hull City. Their catering operation at the KC Stadium recently won the Overall Matchday Hospitality Awards at the 2018 Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards.
The Iron’s Chief Executive Officer, James Rodwell said: “As we move towards a new era at Glanford Park with the stadium redevelopment, it is our aim to continue to improve the supporter experience for everybody who visits the stadium. VCP will be working with the football club over the coming months to develop the offering at Glanford Park, including improvements to the facilities, menus and signage.
