The Iron are to host a second Grassroots Football Day, welcoming a wealth of local youngsters to Glanford Park for our Sky Bet League One fixture against Gillingham on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
After the success of last year’s event, which saw around 1,000 situated in the AMS Stand, United are pleased to be announcing the same offer in celebration of our local junior talent.
Representatives of the clubs are invited to take advantage of the offer which will see all registered children in the group admitted for FREE, while a special price of £10 will be in operation for adults on a maximum 1:1 ratio with children in the team.

All teams attending the Grassroots Football Day will automatically be entered into FREE prize draws to win any of the following…
-> A brand new kit for your football team, supplied by FBT to the value of £300
-> Manager Graham Alexander attending one of your training sessions on a date to be confirmed
-> The opportunity to attend one of the first team’s training sessions on a date to be confirmed
-> Further group rate tickets to an upcoming game in 2017/18
-> A flag bearing opportunity on the Iron’s final home league game of the season against Bradford City on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
Last year saw some of the attending club’s also receive special experiences such as Park Tigers U9's who won a training session with Graham Alexander and Midtown United U10's who came to watch the first team train.
The prize draw will once again be running this year and we are also delighted to have linked up with club partner FBT to enhance the prizes on offer. Not only are they offering a free kit to one lucky team, they also have a special offer that all teams attending can take advantage of to celebrate grassroots football in the area, as detailed below.

With a lot of grassroots interest at Iron matches this season, with group bookings, along with flag bearing opportunities handed out frequently throughout the campaign, it is anticipated that a number of football teams will take advantage of the offer.
As a result, the visiting supporters from Kent will be located in the over-spill section of the Clugston Stand.

Terms and Conditions
-> To take advantage of the offer, the team must have endorsement from the Club Secretary, Manager or Assistant Manager of the football club.
-> The Club Secretary of the teams may be required to prove their attending players are registered to the football club.
-> Discounted tickets are allocated based on a minimum booking of six (to include at least one adult).
-> There must be a minimum child:adult ratio of 5:1 attending, while a maximum of 1:1 ratio applies to the discounted tickets. Additional adult tickets are available at the normal matchday cost price of £22 thereafter.
-> The offer is extended to our local Youth Football League teams up to the under-18 age categories.
-> By attending the Grassroots Day, you automatically agree to be entered into all prize draws and consent for us to supply your team's name and a contact name to FBT in the event you wish to take advantage of their kit offer.
