Charles Breakspear has been appointed as the referee for the away clash at Portsmouth on Saturday.
He has shown 12 red cards and 119 yellows in 31 games so far this season.
The last time he officiated a Scunthorpe match was the 2-0 win at Peterborough in November 2016.
Marc Wilson and Adrian Waters are the assistant referees, with Timothy Wood as fourth official.
