The Iron will be looking to get back to winning ways when they travel to face Peterborough United on Tuesday (7.45pm kick-off).
Scunthorpe were on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline at the weekend, while the Posh were pegged back on their travels against Gillingham, conceding a 93rd minute goal to draw their encounter 1-1.
TEAM NEWS…
With no fresh injury concerns, Graham Alexander has the same squad available to him as he did for the weekend's encounter against Rotherham United.
Levi Sutton (dead leg), Clayton Lewis and Cameron McGeehan (both illnesses) come back into contention after missing out from the squad at the weekend, while Luke Williams successfully came through a substitute appearance for his first involvement in an Iron shirt in over a year.
Long-term absentees Kyle Wootton (hamstring), Jordan Clarke (hamstring) and Jonathon Margetts (knee) are still a while away from returning.
