The 25-year-old is looking to add to the four goals he has already scored this season.
Speaking to iFollow Iron ahead of the away game, Morris also reflected on the Blackburn defeat.
ON THE BLACKBURN DEFEAT…
JM: I thought we did well and felt we dominated for large periods of the game, but obviously we were punished up the other end. It was a tough result to take. I think without the win it doesn’t really replicate our performance, but we did play well. We just needed to find that goal at the right time and we didn’t.
ON THE DONCASTER GAME…
JM: It will be a difficult game. Obviously, it’s a local derby as well, so I’m looking forward to it. It will be a good atmosphere there and one I’m definitely looking forward to. It will be great to see the fans there. The recent followings we’ve had at Bury and Rochdale have been great. It will be a great atmosphere and will be a good game for us.
ON PLAYING IN A DERBY MATCH…
JM: You take it as any other game. There is pressure, but we know what we need to do. If we perform to our level, then the result will take care of itself.
ON WANTING TO SCORE MORE GOALS…
JM: Hopefully I can score another special goal. I try to score in every game, but hopefully we will get the three points, which will be a big thing for the fans.
ON THE QUALITY OF THE SQUAD…
JM: We’ve got a big squad. I think you need that because it’s a tough league to play in. It’s Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday quite a lot of the time, with the cup matches as well. When you have got players like Jordan Clarke coming off the bench, it shows what position we are in. I think you need the competition. You can never rest on your laurels. To have the players we have to bring on, it keeps everyone on their toes and always performing well.
