Match details have been confirmed for the youth team's FA Cup tie against Long Eaton United in the first round proper of the competition.
The Iron's U18 side will travel to face the Derbyshire-based club on Thursday, November 2, 2017 (7pm kick-off), with the encounter taking place at Grane Park (NG10 2EF).
While it will be Scunthorpe's first involvement in the competition this season, Long Eaton have overcome four preliminary rounds to get to this stage, beating Anstey Nomads 9-4 (H), West Bridgford 4-3 (A), Aylestone Park 2-1 (H) and finally Nuneaton Town 2-1 (A).
Admission for the game will be £3 for over-16's while under-16's will be able to enter free of charge.
