Midfielder Funso Ojo thinks the Iron need to have the same mentality going into the Charlton Athletic game as they did against Bradford City on Tuesday night.
United recorded a 2-1 victory in that game at the Northern Commercials Stadium and face another side in the top six when the Addicks come to visit Glanford Park on Saturday afternoon.
Ahead of the match, Ojo spoke to iFollow Iron about the upcoming game and the recent form.
ON THE 2-1 WIN AT BRADFORD…
FO: Not only for me, but to all of us, it really meant a lot because it was a top game. We are both in the top six so I knew it was going to be a difficult game. The pitch wasn't that great, but from the start I had a really good feeling about it and in the end, we got the result. We started off really well – the way we wanted to play – but then maybe because of the support from their fans they got more confident and started playing their game.

ON PLAYING CHARLTON ON SATURDAY…
FO: They’re a big club and I already knew them from Belgium because they have a Belgian owner. As we are playing at home, I don’t think they will let us play because most teams know that if they let us on the ball, we can do great things. We need to find a way around that though.
ON FACING A PROMOTION RIVAL…
FO: We need to have the same mentality as on Tuesday. These games against the teams who are in the top six are important games.
ON THE IRON’S RECENT FORM…
FO: I’m looking at the table, the points we have, how the opponents are doing and if we win this game, we will be closer to the top two. We also need to make a gap between us and the teams beneath us. We’ve had five wins in a row so I’m really happy with that.
