Robert Jones has been appointed as the referee for the Iron’s Emirates FA Cup round one match at Sixfields Stadium when they visit Northampton Town on Saturday.
This will be the first time he has refereed a Scunthorpe match, in only his second year as an EFL referee.
Jones has been the match official for 16 games this season, producing 43 yellow cards and three reds.
The assistant referees will be Grant Taylor and Mark Griffiths, with Anthony Da Costa as the fourth official.
