The Iron can confirm that, as part of their pre-season schedule for 2017, the first team will be returning to Austria.
The week-long trip will see the side based in Obertraun between Saturday, July 15th and Saturday, July 22nd just over a year following their last visit to the country.
Already confirmed, Scunthorpe will precede the overseas trip with a visit to face York City at Bootham Crescent on Wednesday, July 12th (7pm kick-off), while a trip to Kenilworth Road to play Luton Town will follow the tour on Saturday, July 29th (3pm kick-off).
While on the tour in Austria, United are set to play one or two friendly matches which are yet to be confirmed.
