Graham Alexander’s side head to The Den first the first leg of their play-off semi-final against Millwall.
The Iron head into the game in good form, with Sunday’s victory over Coventry City seeing United finish the regular season with five successive triumphs.
Iron boss Alexander says there are no fresh injury worries ahead of the fixture, with right-back Scott Wiseman (knee) rated as 50-50 after missing out on Sunday.
Matt Crooks (knee), Luke Daniels (ribs), Charlie Goode (ankle) and Tom Hopper (shin) will miss the rest of the season.
United were defeated 3-1 at the Den back in April of 2017.
The hosts got themselves off to the perfect start, as, inside the first two minutes, Neil Harris’ team were awarded a penalty kick. Shaun Williams subsequently stepped up and dispatched past Joe Anyon, whose fingertips couldn’t prevent the ball find it’s way in.
Millwall’s advantage was doubled on 56 minutes, as Shane Ferguson fired home at the far post following a Mahlon Romeo cross.
That lead was then extended by Aiden O’Brien, who cleverly finished off a well-worked passing move by the home side.
Scunthorpe did manage to pull one goal back, with Matt Crooks glancing home a Josh Morris free-kick in injury time.
