Ticket prices 2017-18

> New scanning entry system installed
> ‘Ticket to Mobile’ and ‘Print at Home’ options to become available
> Ticket prices frozen from last season, if purchased in advance
> ‘Early bird’ pricing structure introduced

Ahead of the new season, the Iron have invested in a brand-new ticketing and turnstile entry system that will see 2-D scanners introduced around the stadium for access control along with a number of other benefits for the club.

As a result of the new partnership with Venue Management Systems, supporters will be able to take advantage of greater flexibility in how they receive their match tickets, as well as reducing queuing times on matchdays. Meanwhile, individual tickets for season ticket holders will no longer be required, as these will be replaced with a card.

Ticket prices for the season have been frozen from last year, if you purchase in advance of the day of the game, with the club introducing an ‘Early Bird’ buying period as an incentive for purchasing tickets from our ticket office and online via our ticketing website. On a home matchday, these will be available online until three hours before kick-off but not from the ticket office, with full details available here. Iron Membership will still provide members with £1 off their match ticket amongst a host of other benefits.

Scunthorpe United CEO, James Rodwell, said: "The board have committed to making a significant investment in the installation of the new software and hardware, including a brand new server. Almost all of this will be transferable to the new stadium, with plans for this progressing well once again."

"We went through a tender process involving over six ticketing providers and having spoken to a number of other football clubs using this platform, we were encouraged by the positive words they had to say. With our Head of Ticketing seeing the system in action, we were subsequently able to justify that the investment would be worthwhile and it will provide a number of benefits to all parties, including the increased flexibility for supporters."

"This new partnership is a significant positive development for the club and we look forward to working with Venue Management Systems to offer our supporters a much-improved ticketing service."

Installation is currently taking place and full details of how the new system will operate and the specific details of how supporters can take advantage of the system will be communicated in due course.

We anticipate tickets for the opening league and cup fixtures, as well as the friendly against Sunderland and Iron Membership packages, will all be on sale in the coming weeks, once installation and testing has concluded. As previously advised, 12th Man Package Season Tickets will be available to collect from week commencing 24th July.

Full pricing information for league fixtures at Glanford Park can be found on the official website here, while details about Iron Memberships can be found here.
