Graham Alexander’s men were edged out 3-1 by the Addicks in an Emirates FA Cup first round tie back in November.
United have put together back-to-back league victories however, and picked up a crucial three points in their fixture at Northampton Town last Saturday.

Alexander says David Mirfin came through a half in Tuesday’s behind-closed-doors game with Doncaster Rovers unscathed, but added that he’ll be assessed after another full week’s training next week.
Full backs Conor Townsend and Scott Wiseman will also be absent. However, Alexander is hopeful both can play in a match sometime next week.
Irishman Paddy Madden is a more longer term concern, with Alexander stating the forward is still a while off returning, following the groin injury he sustained against Peterborough United.
Ademola Lookman’s brace set Charlton on their way to victory in the two sides’ meeting earlier on this season.
Scunthorpe were the better of the teams in the opening exchanges, but Lookman broke the deadlock on 34 minutes, rifling in an effort from distance.
Six minutes later that lead was doubled, as skipper Johnnie Jackson’s low drive crept into the bottom corner of Luke Daniels’ goal.
The visitors were once again bright after the interval, and got themselves back into the tie through Tom Hopper’s near post header.
Lookman got his second and Charlton’s third though, and sent the home side through to the next phase of the competition.

After spending half the campaign on loan at Scottish club Heart of Midlothian, Tony Watt has recently returned to his parent club.
A youth graduate from Airdrie United’s academy, the 23-year-old burst onto the scene with Celtic, famously netting in their 2-1 home victory over Barcelona.
Since arriving at the Valley, Watt has also had loan spells at both Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers.
