Sebastian Stockbridge will referee the Iron’s home fixture with AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday evening.
The man from Tyne has already taken charge of 30 matches in the current campaign and, in those games, he’s produced 121 yellow cards and dismissed seven players.Stockbridge has officiated two United matches so far this season, in games against Fleetwood Town and Swindon Town respectively.
Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, the official took charge of 30 games, cautioning 102 players and sending off six.
He’ll be joined on Tuesday by assistant referees Christopher Ward and Richard Wild, with Matthew McGrath taking up the role of fourth official.
