First year professional Noel Burdett has returned to Frickley Athletic on a youth loan until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old was originally on loan to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division side from mid-September, scoring nine goals in 13 appearances. He also netted once in a loan spell with Gainsborough Trinity, which was brought to an end in midweek.
Burdett turned professional last summer, and scored five goals in 17 youth team appearances last season.
The player, who has been at Scunthorpe since under-9 level, will reacquaint himself with the Blues ahead of their Saturday fixture away at Marine.
