The Iron travel to the Memorial Stadium to face Bristol Rovers on Saturday, as they look to build on last Saturday’s away point against Sheffield United.
Darrell Clarke’s side also had a share of the spoils over the weekend, with the Pirates coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Port Vale at Vale Park.
The two teams last met on the opening day of the season, with Alexander’s men coming from behind to win 3-1 at Glanford Park.
Matty Taylor gave the visitors the lead on the 31 minute mark, as he fired the ball past Luke Daniels from 10 yards out.
That advantage was held until the 66th minute, with Kevin van Veen drilling an effort past Rovers ‘keeper Steve Mildenhall from a tight angle.
Nine minutes from time, the turnaround was complete and in some style too. When debutant Josh Morris picked up the ball there seemed to be little danger, but the winger drove to the edge of the box and unleashed an unstoppable left-footed strike that gave Mildenhall no chance.
Kyle Wootton then wrapped things up in the sixth minute of injury time when he ran clear to finish neatly into the bottom corner of the goal.

With eight goals in his last 11 Sky Bet League One appearances, Billy Bodin has risen to the top of the Gas’ goalscoring chart.
Added significance was placed on the Welshman’s strikes following the departure of marksman Taylor to local rivals Bristol City.
The 24-year-old is in a rich vein of form and also has a hat-trick to his name this season too - with him netting three times against Coventry City on Boxing Day.
