The Iron travel to Blackpool on Boxing Day for their latest League One fixture.
Scunthorpe come into the match buoyed by an excellent 3-1 win over Southend United at the weekend which took them up to fourth in League One.
The Seasiders drew 1-1 at Charlton Athletic on Saturday and presently sit 12th in the table.
TEAM NEWS…
Manager Graham Alexander reported no fresh injury worries from the win over Southend.
They will be without central midfielders Neal Bishop (suspension) and Andrew Crofts, who picked up an injury against MK Dons.
Striker Lee Novak could return to training shortly but Tuesday’s match might be too soon, while Alexander is hopeful to see Rory McArdle back in the New Year.
Sam Mantom, Luke Williams and Jonathon Margetts will once again not be involved for the Iron.
